The web-browser based interface will enable solicitors and counsel to interact with the court more efficiently. Court users can issue new claims, file documents to existing cases (e-file) and maintain case records on-line.
The system reduces the amount of hard-copy paperwork dramatically and eliminates errors caused by misfiling and mistyping.
The new web-based module has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the interCOMM case management system. It can be configured so new e-filings need to be verified at the court before being accepted.
interCOMM has a built-in, user defined, auto-notification system. Any changes to a case record will trigger an email and/or an SMS to be sent to all other parties.
Court users are required to pay for court services promptly. interCOMM includes a credit card check-out system that will be familiar to internet users everywhere.
Imprest accounts can also be handled using the flexible reporting tools that are already part of the interCOMM case management system.
interCOMM is available as an off-the-shelf package but can be customised for the specific needs of individual courts.
interCOMM webCMS complies with the highest standards of security, performance and reliability as defined by UK government.
